This group of paintings was an expansion for me with several new approaches!  First, the surface is granular, more like watercolor paper , but not absorbent, so thin paints (water and pigment) flow like watercolor. bringing looser central elements with surprises!  The second part was using acrylic flow medium with pigment, manipulated by turning, tilting, pulling paint around with a brush. and dropping paint on both wet and dry parts with droppers, squeeze bottles and flinging.  Then i finished with addition of my veiling layers and metallic paints by my usual means - feels expansive to me!

As prints, you have multiple media, and the ability to chose the perfect size. The metallic surface especially captures the nuances and transparency of the original!
