Seriously serious post about important things

After 45 minutes just trying to get into this blog, I won't be too long.

It's embarrassing that the last time I posted was February, but only because my blog (at mariannehornbuckle.com), leads to my ( and my husband"s) actual websites, so that's the first thing one sees on going to said website (mariannehornbuckle.com).  I could, or might be dead?

I haven't been idle, and have new (experimental) paintings to show.  They of course take longer.

Here's one, the last, and the others are on Paintings 2014 - follow the link.

I am excited and nervous about showing at Art on the Rockies in Edwards, CO, 2nd weekend in July - the 2nd out-of-town 3-day show I've ever done.  I hope to reach a new audience in doing so,  and that Bill manages without my presence. Sounds funny, but it'll be a vacation for me.

My best garden in 30 years is in, with drip irrigation, great compost, shade and straw mulch, and even wind protection - healthy tomato plants that may even survive blight - and squash planted to miss the squash bugs.  Maybe I won't have to apply for  tomato disaster relief in August - don't know why but it's important to me, like my work.
I've had just a little more time to dawdle weekends recently, free of SFSA shows temporarily, because I'm waiting for Saturn to move off my 2nd house (of resources - gifts & value, i.e.money) - and stop the stoppage!!

As every summer, I'm guiding the Pojoaque River Art Tour, supporting SFSA, and fielding for the Acequia del Barranca de Jacona (our Acequia Madre).

Meanwhile, let's just keep on trucking - what else is there to do?!
